G-Power has been making superchargers for naturally-aspirated, high-revving BMW S65 V-8 engines for quite some time. I the past five years, their orange-clad rotating machines of power have fed more than 500 BMW M3 V-8 engines with lots of boost. Why the supercharger? The belief at G-Power is that their superchargers offer way more performance potential than the traditional ECU tune, intake, and exhaust upgrades on a naturally-aspirated engine.

The reduction in price can also be attributed to the design methods of the supercharger system. G-Power uses an advanced CAD program to create the entire supercharger and is able to install the unit without taking the engine apart. And the German tuner doesn’t skip on quality when it comes to parts, either. The supercharger mounting plate and complete air ducting, for example, are made entirely from lightweight cast aluminum alloy.
The G-Power M3 V8 “GP Edition 30 Years” supercharger system offers customers a range in output from 500 to 720 horsepower for the standard 420 horsepower V-8 engine. The M3 V8 system SK I “GP Edition 30 years” boosts output to 500 horsepower for 4,199 Euros. The M3 V8 system SK II “GP Edition 30 years“ goes up to 570 horsepower for 6,719 Euros, and the M3 V8 system SK II CS “GP Edition 30 years“ takes output all the way up to 600 horsepower for 8,399 Euros.
