Since it was introduced in 1963, the Porsche 911 has grown to become an icon in the sports car world. With the introduction of the new Porsche 991, the 911 has spanned seven different generations.
At Rennsport Reunion IV, the largest gathering of Porsches in North America, a group of past 911 models gathered to welcome the new Porsche 991 911. It was greeted by a classic 911, 997 Cabriolet, 993, 996, and other generations and models. The Porsche 991 video salute shows us the history and heritage that is behind Porsche’s newest 911 and makes us appreciate what the car stands for.
