Turning Godzilla into a savage beast.
At the 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon, Japanese car tuner TommyKaira debuted their Nissan GT-R (R35). The tuner offers two exterior kits: one giving the GT-R a full body makeover, while the other focuses on the front of the car. The full kit adds numerous aerodynamic components that increase downforce at the front and rear. The rear features a large trunk spoiler and a lower spoiler, while the new front bumper possesses a spoiler in a wet carbon finish. Both the front and rear receive diffusers to create a low-pressure area under the car sucking the car to the ground. The side skirts are available in either wet carbon or fiber-reinforced plastic, and further reduce aerodynamic drag. The rear fenders are extended by 20mm on each side, giving Godzilla a frightening guise. Optionally, both kits can be installed with Dry Carbon Protect door handles, front fender finishers, and fender ducts.
To back up Godzilla’s ferocious looks, TommyKaira offers a high performance pure titanium exhaust to give the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V-6 more bite. Additionally the brakes can be upgraded with the Endless MONO6 & 6R Caliper Kit featuring 390mm rotors. For a more sport-oriented ride, customers can order the Quantum Super Sports Suspension kit. High-strength AVS Model F15 wheels in either black or platinum can be fitted, measuring 20 x 9.5J IN+40 at the front and 20 x 10.5J IN+20 at the rear. Fitted to the forged wheels are 255/40ZR20 front and 285/35ZR20 rear Pirelli P-Zero tires for optimum grip.
The interior of the GT-R is available in either a premium dry carbon, or leather. New Sportec floor mats are available to complete the customized interior finish. Lightweight Recaro RS-G TommyKaira version seats can be ordered, and offer superior lateral support.
