Naturally aspirated German fury.
The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG sedan and coupe models are two German pony cars that are all about big, naturally aspirated V-8s and rear-wheel drive power. The team at wheelsandmore has taken the idea of the AMG model being a German muscle car to the next level with the new C63 5.7 Edition that just begs to light up the rear tires.
The wheelsandmore C63 5.7 Edition is all about extracting more power out of the free-breathing 6.2-liter V-8 engine that sits under the hood. The German tuner installed new sport air filters for better airflow and a full stainless steel exhaust system with 4-in-1 manifolds and special flaps for adjustable volume. The engine’s computer was then retuned to accommodate the new upgrades and resulted in a total of 570 horsepower and 509 lb-ft. of torque. With the added power, the C63 5.7 Edition is capable of reaching a top speed of 198.84 mph.
As with all wheelsandmore upgrade programs, the stock AMG wheels had to be upgraded by the German tuner. The wheel of choice for the C63 5.7 Edition was the 6Sporz² three-piece forged alloy wheel. The wheels were given matte black centers and grey outer rim to match the AMG brake calipers. The 6Sporz² forged wheels were installed in a wide 9.0 x 20 front and 10.5 x 20 rear setup and equipped with 235/30 and 275/25 Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tires for better grip.
The C63 5.7 Edition was also given a new set of compression and rebound adjustable KW coilovers for better handling dynamics, and a new black exterior stripe. The black wheelsandmore stripe runs from the front bumper to the rear of the coupe along the driver’s side for a sportier look and can be installed as an option.
The wheelsandmore Mercedes-Benz C63 5.7 Edition is currently available as an entire car for € 88,888.88 or as an upgrade kit for the C63 AMG Coupe model.
