A different way of displaying time.
Biegert & Funk has created a new way to display time with their new QLOCKTWO wall-mounted or free standing clock with a typographical display. The new 45 cm x 45 cm square clock displays the time using letters to create common phrases that illuminate with a bright light instead of the traditional analog or digital clocks.
The Biegert & Funk QLOCKTWO features seven different colors on the front panel along with brushed stainless steel and polished synthetic glass. The front panel is securing using magnets to allow for different colored panels in various languages to be attached.
The front panel on the Biegert & Funk QLOCKTWO is offered in twelve different languages and is radio-controlled in Europe immediately after being set up. The back lights that illuminate the letters are automatically updated to ambient lighting in a room but can be adjusted in terms of brightness. In addition to the minutes being displayed, users can set the QLOCKTWO to display seconds as well.
The Biegert & Funk QLOCKTWO is powered by a wall outlet or textile cables in a range of colors, and can be hung on a wall or set up as a free standing unit. Each clock is assembled by hand at Biegert & Funk in Schwaebisch Gmuend, Germany in a former jewelry factory. The clock has received numerous international awards for its design such as the Good Design Award, Red Dot, iF Product Design Award, and more. The QLOCKTWO is available for approximately $1,100 and can be found at the Biegert & Funk online store.
