Remembering an iconic Lamborghini.
The Lamborghini Miura is one of the most legendary models from the Italian automaker and is widely regarded as being ahead of its time. Now, Swiss Artist, Dante, is immortalizing the iconic Lamborghini Miura by creating a 1:24-scale, 24-carat gold sculpture of the car’s body.
The new Lamborghini Miura P400 SV sculpture will be presented in Abu Dhabi at a special event during the Formula 1 Grand Prix in November of 2012. The sculpture is made from silver and finished in 24-carat gold; however customers can also opt for a complete gold model. A black marble base holds the unique piece of automotive artwork.
Only 50 of the new Lamborghini Miura sculptures will be produced by Dante. Each piece of artwork will be presented to customers with a piano black lacquered case. The standard sculptures made from silver and finished in gold will be available for 50,000 Swiss Francs, (roughly $52,000 / €42,000), while the all-gold pieces will be priced at 100,000 Swiss Francs (roughly $104,000 / €83,000).
