Eccentricity, expertise and style.
Those three things are what the new Porsche Cayenne Wide Track from A Kahn Design exudes as the SUV drives through the streets. It’s a sleeker, more refined, and toned-down SUV compared to its previous generation variants that have undergone the A Kahn Design treatment yet still has a confident design thanks to its wide track aerodynamic kit and supple interior.
The exterior of the new A Kahn Design Porsche Cayenne Wide Track is more dynamic and inspiring thanks to its aerodynamic body work. The most aggressive part of the upgrade package is the new front and rear wheel arches that utilize air dams to keep things cool in the wheel wells. Each of the front vents on the wheel arches feature vertical LED daytime running lights. Beneath each side of the SUV are new ambient lights to welcome passengers at night with ice white lighting integrated in the underside of the Cayenne. The final aerodynamic component on the SUV is a rear trunk spoiler that helps to generate extra downforce for the rear axle. A Kahn Design then installed new enamel fender shields and matte black door handles.
In terms of performance, the team at A Kahn Design focused on the Porsche Cayenne’s chassis to improve upon the dynamics of the SUV. The lone engine modification for not only the featured 3.0 diesel variant, but for the rest of the lineup is a stainless steel cross-hair exhaust system that emits a more aggressive sound with distinct styling. The suspension was outfitted with a new lowering module to improve the SUV’s center of gravity while special in-house 22-inch Kahn RS wheels were installed with the rear axle sporting a concave design. The finishing touch is a set of gold-painted brake calipers.
Inside is a plush interior outfitted with all sorts of custom-tailored refinements and luxuries. Each seat wears a coat of soft quilted and perforated black and carbon leather with contrasting ivory stitching that also extends to the center glove box. The instrument cluster features a new red and cream tachometer and speedometer while the floors are adorned with black charcoal floor mats and machined aluminum vented foot pedals. Because Afzal Kahn and the rest of the team at A Kahn Design are so proud to use other British businesses, the interior features a special “Investing in British Industry” logo.
The new Porsche Cayenne Wide Track is currently available from A Kahn Design on all variants of the SUV. Pricing for the upgrades and the featured 3.0-liter diesel car have not been released.
