The chromium Red, 501 hp rocket.
It’s not like the factory Audi TT-RS is boring or bland by any means, but sometimes you just want to get more of a thrill out of your sports car in terms of looks and performance. That’s where FolienCenter-NRW comes in with its new prototype “Chromium Red” wrap from Hexis and some 500+ horsepower engine upgrades that will be sure to put a smile on your face whether you’re driving it or not.
Straight from the factory, the Audi TT-RS looks the part of the high-performance variant in the model range with its larger spoilers, aggressive bodywork, and exclusive styling. The team at FolienCenter-NRW wanted to give the sports car an even more unique look so they applied a special prototype “Chromium Red” wrap from Hexis that features a two-tone scheme with a matte silver color that matches the factory side mirrors.
The Audi TT-RS was then outfitted with a new chassis to give it an even more exclusive appearance. The factory wheels were replaced with OEM Audi RS 6 wheels with a high-gloss finish in a 9.0 x 20 setup with 225/30R20 Hankook S1 EVO performance tires. To complete the upgraded stance, a new Bilstein B16 coilover suspension was installed and lowers the ride height for a better center of gravity.
Beneath the Chromium Red hood sits the turbocharged 2.5-liter five-pot of fun modified by LOBA Motorsports. Output rises all the way up to 501 horsepower and 415 lb-ft. of torque thanks to an LO500P turbocharger, new intercooler, and fuel pump from LOBA Motorsports as well as an ECU tune from FTS Fahrzeugtechnik and Sachs Performance clutch. If you can’t see the new TT-RS in its vibrant color scheme, then you’ll definitely hear it thanks to a new Milltek exhaust system with HJS racing catalytic converters. Thanks to the new upgrades, the TT-RS can go from 0-62 mph in just 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 199 mph.
The Audi TT-RS “Red Lightning” by FolienCenter-NRW is currently available along with all of the featured upgrades from the German company. The team also is currently developing a new 700 horsepower engine upgrade package for an even greater shot of adrenaline.
