Torquey fun time!
All of you diesel fans out there can now rejoice! Hartge has unveiled its new upgrade program for the range of BMW diesel engines available throughout the model range that have all sorts of power and incredible amounts of torque.
The 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-six featured in the E90 / E91 / E92 / E93 325d and F10 / F11 525d models goes from 204 horsepower up to 242 hp at 3950 RPM 394.54 lb-ft. of torque at 1800 RPM with the new Hartge engine tune. The 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline six powering the E90 / E91 / E92 / E93 330d, 330d xDrive, F07 530d, 530d xDrive, F10 / F11 530d, F01 / F02 730d, 730Ld, E70 X5 xDrive30d and E71 X6 xDrive30d models with 245 horsepower, stock get pumped up to 290 hp at 4000 RPM 472 lb-ft. of torque at 1900 RPM with the new tune.
Hartge also tunes the triple-turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel engines in the for F10 / F11 M550d xDrive, F01 750d xDrive, F02 750Ld xDrive, E70 X5 M50d and E71 X6 M50d models and everything in between. The 381 horsepower engines in the aforementioned models get a push up to 438 horsepower at 3000 RPM and 619.47 lb-ft. at 2900 RPM thanks to the Hartge tune. The other 35d and 40d engine variants in the lineup both get 354- and 362 horsepower outputs with the Hartge tunes as well.
All of the oil-burning engines in the BMW lineup can benefit from the Hartge engine tunes for a more thrilling driving experience with all sorts of torque.
