Not a good day at the car show.
The McLaren P1 is the latest and greatest super car not just from the British automaker, but in the world of exotic cars. At the 2013 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, many car companies showcased their new concept and super cars while other individuals put their own classics on display.
Things just didn’t go according to plan for the McLaren team during the show. The car itself looked astonishing, as we all expected. However, the team ran into some technical difficulties. When they went to start the car, it would not turn over. So, they decided to play around with the components underneath the hood and still couldn’t get the hybrid super car to work.
Unfortunately, the McLaren P1 had to be pushed and towed into a trailer where it could be transported to be repaired. Good thing they got the little boy to help (2:08)! It’s too bad because we were excited for Marchettino to catch the exhaust note on video.
