All Italian supercars burn at some point, right?
On Monday night, July 29th, a Lamborghini Murciélago in Cape Town, South Africa decided to get back to its Italian roots and spontaneously combust into flames that eventually destroyed the car.
Italian cars have always had this reputation for bursting into flames due to mechanical failures of some kind. It’s continued with Ferraris as of late, and flammable tendencies are even known to Lamborghini, as seen by this Murciélago in South Africa.
The fire was reportedly caused due to some kind of mechanical issue as the supercar was not involved in an accident prior to the fire starting. Luckily, nobody was hurt in the blaze.
