DMC Shows off the new McLaren HS-12 “Velocita SE” in Emerald Red

DMC Exotic Car Tuning has a pretty straightforward philosophy: to make good automobiles better. The McLaren MP4-12C is unquestionably a good automobile, and the McLaren HS-12 “Velocita SE” is a perfect example of it becoming even better in virtually every aspect with the help of the German company.

The newest upgrade for the McLaren MP4-12C was built in Indonesia at one of the brand’s dealers, Premier Autowerks and finished in a brilliant Emerald Red. The entire McLaren HS-12 “Velocita SE” was designed not just for aesthetic aggressiveness, but for better aerodynamic performance utilizing high-tech, lightweight carbon fiber.

The once-grinning fascia of the McLaren MP4-12C has been transformed into a vicious and powerful supercar that’s not afraid of anything. A new carbon fiber grille conforms to the flowing curves of the factory design, while a new carbon fiber lip splitter and carbon fiber side flaps help to increase downforce and stability for better high speed performance. Running towards the rear is a pair of carbon fiber side skirts that visually lower the height of the supercar. The rear of the McLaren HS-12 “Velocita SE” was outfitted with a new carbon fiber diffuser that improves aerodynamics even further with a new tunnel design and the addition of two extra fins. Sitting atop the rear is a large carbon fiber wing that only adds to the menacing nature of the upgraded McLaren HS-12 “Velocita SE” while adding a generous amount of downforce.

Spitting out all sorts of hellish sounds from beneath the carbon fiber rear wing is a new titanium exhaust. The 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine yells out a fierce roar thanks to the new titanium exhaust that not only optimizes backpressure but also reduces weight significantly over the stock setup.

To complete the transformation of the McLaren HS-12 “Velocita SE”, a new set of wheels and tires were fitted. The team opted for lightweight Diamond forged alloy wheels with a two-tone finish in a 9.5 x 21 front and 12.5 x 21 rear setup with 255/30 ZR21 pneus and 355/25 ZR21 tires for a wider footprint and better grip.

Owners have the option to outfit the cabin of the McLaren HS-12 “Velocita SE” with an array of custom-tailored options. DMC Exotic Car Tuning can install a variety of fine Italian leather, Alcantara, wood, carbon fiber, and more to create a unique atmosphere for driver and passenger.
