The Chicago Auto show is well under way with unveilings and previews as far as the eye can see. Put on comfortable shoes and plan ahead for the million-square foot facility holds a plethora of automotive eye candy.
The first sounds of the show were not the roar of engines or the squealing of tires, but the rhythm of the blues – Chicago Blues, a sound born in Chicago rang out to herald the first press event at Kia’s stand. Alongside fellow journalists from Green Car Reports and The Detroit Bureau as well as hundreds of others Subaru and Kia held out attention with their latest offerings.
To our pleasant surprise there was a herd of Saleen cars. We will bring you more photos and info later. No, unfortunately, there was no sign or hint of an S5 or new S7 from Saleen. We have more coming. Stay tuned!

The Chicago Auto Show Press Preview Days continue. On our final press day, we hope to hear from Mazda about the new Miata and some more good news from Volkswagen. Ford and Mopar will also have some presentations today. We will recap this weekend and give you some of the things you can look forward to during the show. If you are in or near Chicago, the 106th Annual Chicago Auto Show will be going on from February 8th – 17th. To take a phrase from the familiar holiday song:
