A glimpse into the future.
For 50 years, Aston Martin has been working with EON Productions, the producers of the James Bond film franchise. During that time, the suave and skillful Mi6 agent has driven quite a few exciting and interesting vehicles, many of which were Aston Martins. The start of the partnership saw the secret agent behind the wheel of the legendary Aston Martin DB5, and now in the newest film, Spectre, he will drive the Aston Martin DB10.
The new Aston Martin DB10 was designed specifically for the newest James Bond film and is built by hand by the company’s design and engineering teams in Gaydon. Marek Reichman, the Aston Martin Chief Creative Officer who led the project worked alongside the film’s director, Sam Mendes to develop a car that fit James Bond like a perfectly tailored suit.
“In the same year that we celebrate our 50-year relationship with 007, it seems doubly fitting that today we unveiled this wonderful new sports car created especially for James Bond,” said Dr. Andy Palmer, CEO of Aston Martin. “To be partnering once again with EON Productions is great news for this company and for everyone around the world that loves to see Bond at the wheel of an Aston Martin.”

The new design language of the DB10 that will be featured in the upcoming Spectre also provides a look into what the future holds for the British sports cars. While it may not be a true concept car, future models will likely have similar look and styling.
Only 10 of the bespoke Aston Martin DB10 models will be built by hand at the company’s headquarters in Gaydon for the upcoming film. On November 6th, 2015, fans will finally be able to catch a true look at the newest Bond car when Spectre finally hits theatres.
