The first-ever Agera in the US and the new Regera.
The Monterey Car Week can easily be overload for any automotive enthusiast. The senses become overwhelmed with automobiles past, present, and even from the future with their roaring exhausts and timeless designs. At the Monterey Car Week, Koenigsegg will be showing off their Agera XS and Regera at the McCall’s Motorworks Revival and The Quail Motorsport Gathering.
The Koenigsegg Agera XS is first-ever Agera RS model in the United States and was built and sold for one lucky owner, who requested that it be named the ‘Agera XS’. A special Karosserie Orange that features a diamond-dust metallic effect with a vibrant orange color covers the body while a contrasting clear carbon strip runs along the center of the exotic and is matched by other aerodynamic aspects and trim pieces throughout. The same color scheme is reflected in the interior of the Agera XS where black alcantara with orange stitching is worn throughout the cabin.
The Koenigsegg Agera XS also boasts the largest rear wing ever fitted to one of the Swedish megacars along with other bespoke aerodynamics to generate loads of downforce. A removable lightweight hardtop also comes standard.
Powering the Koenigsegg Agera XS is the brutal 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine connected to the CIMA seven-speed gearbox with Koenigsegg-developed integrated E-diff at the rear. All the modern luxuries, amenities, and conveniences are still featured, even though the overall weight is a mere 3,075 lbs.

Right alongside the new Koenigsegg Agera XS is the Regera megacar. The innovative, high-tech Koenigsegg Regera will be fully legal in the United States and features a hybrid powertrain made up of a 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 and three electric motors. A total of 1,500 horsepower and 1,475 lb-ft. of torque is created and sent to the rear wheels through the advanced Koenigsegg Direct Drive system.
This utterly insane amount of power propels the Koenigsegg Regera from 0-186 mph in just 10.0 seconds while 249 mph is reached in just 20 seconds.
The high-tech Regera can also be fitted with a fully robotized body that allows all the doors and hoods to be opened at the press of a button. Only 80 units will be made for customers around the globe.
Both the Koenigsegg Agera XS and Regera will be flown into the United States from Ängelholm for the iconic Monterey Car Week in August.
