If you’re a Jaguar fan come inside and turn up the volume because we have a treat for you!
Earlier in 2011, Jaguar unveiled their most potent XK model to date – the XKR-S. The driver-focused machine was the first series production sports car from Jaguar to break the 300 km/h (186 mph) barrier, and boasted a 0-60 mph time of just 4.2 seconds. Under the hood is a performance-tuned 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 that pumps out a roaring 542 bhp and 502 lb-ft. of torque. Everything from the differential to the tires has been tuned for the track.
To showcase this fearsome cat, Jaguar took it to the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve circuit in Portugal. The 2.915-mile race track was perfect for the Jaguar XKR-S as it features numerous elevation changes and off-camber turns.
