Special Weapons And Tuning.
Volkswagen’s Passat CC, or just “CC” as it is known now, is quite possibly the best looking four-door coupe for the price, and has even drawn comparisons to the Mercedes-Benz CLS. Since it was debuted in 2008 it has even been nicknamed the “little Phaeton”. The four-door coupe has undergone a combative transformation with the new KBR Motorsport SWAT-themed exterior.
The entire exterior of the CC has been covered in a dull olive gray paint and given SWAT decals along each side. KBR Motorsport has also installed a modified and shortened KW Variant 3 coilover suspension to lower the car and eliminate any wheel gap. Four 9 x 20 Type R12 five spoke wheels with 225/30 ZR 20 Pirelli PZero tires are tucked into the wide wheel arches.
In addition to the exterior styling and the suspension tuning, KBR motorsport has also developed a CC tuning program for the engine. The turbocharged inline-four is fitted with new 76 mm piping, stainless steel race catalytic converters, downpipe, and exhaust system. These modifications help push the turbo-four to 260 horsepower; up 60 ponies from the stock output.
The KBR Motorsport Volkswagen Passat CC is currently available from the German tuner for € 11,000. (+/- 15.800 USD).
