Pure Porsche insanity.
German tuning company, Wimmer Rennsporttechnik Solingen GmbH, has taken the most powerful 911 offered today and packed it with even more power. The limited-production Porsche 911 GT2 RS gains a number of engine modifications that push it past the 700-horsepower threshold.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six receives a sport air filter, retuned ECU, tuned throttle valve, optimized turbochargers, and a flip-controlled sport exhaust system with sport catalytic converters. The upgrades result in a monstrous 703 horsepower and 597 lb-ft. of torque – up 83 horsepower and 86 lb-ft. of torque over the stock model.
With the added power, the Wimmer RST 911 GT2 RS hits 62 mph in just 3.3 seconds, 124 mph in only 9.5 seconds, and can reach a top speed of 221.21 mph (tires depending). Now that’s FAST.
