The Furiously Fast Ferrari.
The Ferrari FF super car was all about innovation for the Italian automaker. Even though some say that the FF is not a “true Ferrari” that same innovation is something that the company has been known for throughout its history. Now, Novitec Rosso is taking the state-of-the-art super car and giving it a touch of their cutting-edge upgrades.
The Novitec Rosso FF features new aerodynamic components made from durable and lightweight carbon fiber. The new upgrades underwent strict wind tunnel testing to ensure maximum performance at high speeds. The upgrades include a new front spoiler lip that attaches to the standard bumper, a pair of side skirts, and a rear spoiler and diffuser combo. In terms of styling, Novitec Rosso installed a carbon fiber front grille and roof cladding, and tinted the taillights, side indicators, and LED rear fog lights.
With an exterior designed to slice through air like a knife, the next step for the Novitec Rosso FF was to tune the engine. The 6.3-liter V-12 was equipped with a new stainless steel high performance exhaust system that reduces backpressure and can be optionally had with an adjustable butterfly valve system. Novitec Rosso also optimized the ECU with newly remapped software that extended the redline to 8,200 RPM and helped increase output by 42 horsepower for a total of 702 horsepower at 8,200 RPM. With the upgrades, the top speed was also pushed back to 211 mph, three mph faster than the stock model.
Putting all 702 ponies to the road is a new set of ultra-lightweight forged wheels that were designed specifically for the four-wheel drive Ferrari. The front Novitec Rosso NF4 five double-spoke wheels weigh a mere 21.8 lbs. and measure 9J x 21 with 255/30 ZR 21 Pirelli PZero tires, while the rear staggers with 29.7-lb., 12J x 22 wheels and 315/25 ZR 22 tires. The wider footprint works in conjunction with the Novitec Rosso sport springs that lower the overall center of gravity to provide dynamic handling properties through the corners.
Customers of the Novitec Rosso FF also have the option to create a custom-tailored interior with a wide range of leather, alcantara, and upholstery options in different colors. The German tuning company can install larger carbon fiber paddle shifters and new trim pieces throughout the interior.
The Novitec Rosso FF takes the four-wheel drive Ferrari to a new level of style and performance. Customers can order the upgrades as a complete package or as individual accessories. Pricing has not been released.
