Here at MotoringExposure, we love some good old-fashioned American muscle. The latest Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is the most powerful production Camaro ever built and is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter “LSA” V-8 engine with 580 horsepower and 556 lb-ft. of torque. Over thirty percent of the Camaro ZL1 was changed compared to the SS version as well, ensuring it would be one potent performer.
So where’s the best place to show off this power, besides your local empty parking lot? The Nürburgring of course!
Chevy took their newest muscle car to Green Hell and made a great Camaro ZL1 video to show off their fastest lap time. Using a production example with no modifications, Chevy was able to achieve a lightning-fast 7:41.27 lap time, making it about 40 seconds faster than the SS version.
