The Land Rover Discovery (LR4 here in the US) may be an SUV designed for off-road capability, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t be a smooth luxury ride and make its home on the city streets. The new Land Rover Discovery 3.0 SDV6 Twin-Turbo XS – RS300 by A Kahn Design is just that – a Discovery that is built for the road but still has its well-known off-road capabilities. It may have a very long name, but it’s an exceptional, custom-tailored SUV that is a real head-turner.
The exterior of the Land Rover Discovery 3.0 SDV6 Twin Turbo XS – RS300 is more dramatic and eye-catching than ever before. Thanks to a new, aggressive styling package by the British company, the Discovery commands attention on the road.
Up front sits a new RS grille with three-dimensional mesh and wheel arch LED daytime running lights that change the face of the SUV. Bigger RS-R wheels with a five-spoke concave design give the impression of power and muscle, and are fitted in a 9.5 x 22 front and 10.5 x 22 rear setup. The new wheels hide a set of liquid red-painted brake calipers and are housed beneath front and rear RS-vented air dams. New Kahn enamel fender shields and tailgate logo combine with the dark-tinted privacy glass to finish off the exterior transformation of the Land Rover Discovery 3.0 SDV6 Twin Turbo XS – RS300.
Inside, the rugged capabilities of the car are masked by a wealth of custom-tailored luxuries throughout the cabin. All seven of the seats can be adorned in either red of black quilted and perforated leather along with the center console, while each of the four door armrests feature unique stitching. Telling time is even an enjoyable experience as a new fascia insert surrounded by a Swarovski diamond bezel adds a beautiful touch to the center stack. Facing the driver is a red-colored tachometer to match the red theme inside. Beneath the beltline are a set of aluminum foot pedals for the driver, new floor mats, and stainless steel door entry sills to greet passengers. The driver also benefits from a Kahn red enamel key ring with logo, to remind them of what sits outside.
As with all of the models created by A Kahn Design, the Land Rover Discovery 3.0 SDV6 Twin Turbo XS – RS300 can be outfitted with a wide range of colors, options, and virtually anything else that the customer desires to make it a unique statement in motoring. The featured vehicle with Santorini Black exterior and red quilted leather interior is currently available for £35,875.00 from the British company.
