And this is just the beginning.
Just recently the team at Heffner Performance was able to get an 8.3-second quarter-mile time out of their twin-turbocharged Lamborghini Huracan. Shortly after, Underground Racing was able to break the 8.0-second barrier with their own force-fed track terror.
The first initial runs of the twin-turbocharged Lamborghini Huracan resulted in a very impressive 8.55-second quarter-mile time. However, the team knew that the V-10 super car could go even faster, so they installed a new 10-plate Dodson clutch setup and upgraded the engine setup to their 2R level, creating 1,800 horsepower.
Armed with the added power and beefier clutch setup, the Underground Racing DCT twin-turbocharged Lamborghini Huracan with Nitto drag radial tires was able to do a 7.8-second pass at 187 mph. That’s just insane.
And what’s ever crazier is that the Underground Racing team is going to be working on their mad machine further to get even faster times!
