The Ariel Atom is a sports car that is a thrilling driving machine without any fancy luxuries. It’s designed for pure driving performance and fun. It is a raw car with anywhere from 300 to 500 horsepower. The 300 horsepower version is powered by a supercharged 2.0-liter Honda inline-four that can accelerate to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds.
Jethrow Bovingdon of Car and Driver recently went to the UK to drive the super-fun sports car around a racetrack and through the country’s winding roads. Listening to the supercharger scream as it begs to be pushed and the screeching tires with the wind in your face is nothing short of driving bliss.
