Breaking the sound barrier at Spa.
The sound limits at Spa-Francorchamps have been broken by the Edo Competition Ferrari Enzo ZXX. The hardcore super car is a street-legal Ferrari FXX. Sound a bit strange? Well, that’s because none of the Ferrari FXX models were ever street legal.
The Enzo ZXX is a car that’s been heavily modified by the folks at Edo Competition to the tune of roughly $2.3 million and features a 950 horsepower V-12 engine. There’s lots of aerodynamics and a very polarizing color scheme, but this bad boy is all about performance and sound.
Unfortunately, that sound is what got it into trouble at Spa-Francorchamps. The volume limit at the track was shattered by the 142-decibel roar of the ZXX to the point where it had to shut things down for the day.
Luckily, the super car was able to get a few laps in with its exhausts piercing eardrums.
If you want to turn up your volume, go ahead. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
