Aston Martin’s sleek special editions for the DBS and V12 Vantage.
As a result of the great success Aston Martin has had with the DBS and V12 Vantage, the marquee has created new special editions to celebrate the two models. Both the Aston Martin Carbon Black V12 Vantage and DBS will endure 50 hours of hand painting with strict quality checks and be dressed in a rich Carbon Black metallic paint, uniquely formulated with a metallic twist to create a vivid luster. A bright finished grille with parking sensors is fitted to both models along with a striking set of gloss black 10 spoke diamond turned alloy wheels. The famous Aston Martin side strakes, unique to the V12 Vantage, are fabricated using real carbon fiber and are backed by a black mesh.
The interiors of the Aston Martin Carbon Black Special Editions are adorned by Obsidian Black leather with distinct hand stitched silver coarse thread. Correlating with the carbon fiber theme is a rich piano black trim flowing through the center stack, center console, and fascia trim. Fabricated from carbon fiber and Kevlar, the lightweight seats save 37.5 pounds over the standard seats. Exceptional sound systems are standard on both models, the V12 Vantage featuring the Aston Martin 700w Premium Audio System, while the Bang & Olufsen Beosound DBS audio system is showcased in the DBS.
Pricing for both Aston Martin Carbon Black models is expected to be at a 5% premium over the base prices, and will be available for order through Aston Martin’s dealership network. Customers of the Carbon Black Edition V12 Vantage from Europe and the UK will be treated to a complementary experience at Aston Martin’s Performance Driving Course.
