In case you’ve been living under a rock, the 24 Hours of Le Mans is happening this coming weekend and it looks to be quite a competitive battle. After a hiatus, Porsche is coming back into the Prototype category with their new LMP1-spec Porsche 919 Hybrid and they are going to have a tough hill to climb against the competition.
Both Audi and Toyota will be vying to finish first overall in the legendary endurance race and Porsche is looking to take the checkered flag that with their hybrid, V-4-powered 919. Before the race, Audi decided to give Porsche a big ‘Welcome Back’ to Le Mans by traveling to Zuffenhausen in a Audi R18 e-tron quattro and leaving a nice little message outside Porsche’s headquarters, starting a bit of a sibling rivalry.
Get ready, because next weekend will be quite entertaining.
