If you’re looking for a drop-top rocket ship that carries the iconic “M” badge, look no further than the BBM Motorsport M700BT. Based on the new F12 BMW M6 packed with the potent 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine, BBM Motorsports has created a tailored tuning program for the convertible that flies.
BMW’s 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine is used in all of their high-powered M-series heavyweights and lets its presence be known beneath the hood of the M6 Cabriolet. With the new M700BT, BBM Motorsport designed a special ECU software tune utilizing in-house performance testing. The engine belts out a rumbling roar through a full Akrapovic exhaust with downpipes, high-performance catalytic converters, and carbon end pipes to reduce backpressure as much as possible. The two modifications help push output to a whopping 705 horsepower from 6,100 to 7,200 RPM and 637 lb-ft. of torque.
The main focus for BBM Motorsport on the M700BT BMW M6 Cabriolet was the performance aspect of the sports car. They did, however, also take a few steps to improve upon the overall look and ride of the drop top.
Making for a more dynamic ride is new KW suspension that works alongside the factory Dynamic Damping Control (DDC) or KW Variant 3 coilovers can be installed that lower the ride height from 10- to 40 mm. Finishing off the stance is a set of Breyton Spirit R wheels that measure 21-inches in diameter.

Completing the M700BT conversion is a new Matte Steel Blue wrap from SFT Carwrap with Gunpowder accents.
The full BBM M700BT is currently available and is based on the F12 BMW M6. The power enhancement kit is also available on the BMW M5, X5 M, and X6 M models.
