The Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG is German muscle car wearing a classy suit. It’s prestigious and luxurious with a side that’s downright diabolical. The team at Sonic Motorsports in San Jose, California took this blacked-out E63 AMG to another level of refined brutality with a new set of Brixton Forged wheels and some RENNtech tuning.
This Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG is a darker shade of speed thanks to its all-black body work and aerodynamics from front to back. Its potent 5.5-liter bi-turbo V-8 engine was pushed even further than its factory 518 horsepower and 520 lb-ft. of torque with the help of a RENNtech tune.
The star of the show is the newly-installed set of Brixton Forged S50 Targa Series wheels fitted by Sonic Motorsports. The black-on-black look comes thanks to a special Firecracker Black face color on the entire wheel with a matte clear finish on the face and gloss clear finish on the rest of the wheel and hardware.
The classic five-spoke style of the Brixton Forged S50 wheels boasts a modular three-piece construction with super concave depth in the Targa Series variant, which helps to emphasize the muscular power that the E63 AMG possesses. The new S50 Targa Series forged wheels were fitted in a 9.0 x 20 front and 10.5 x 20 rear setup on this German hammer and are more than up to the task of handling a RENNtech-tuned bi-turbo AMG V-8 engine.
