Finding New Roads.
The most anticipated car at the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit was easily the new C7-generation Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. It was a radical step for the American automaker and shows the company’s commitment to quality and performance.
The new Corvette Stingray is impressive, even in its “base” trim level. An all-new 6.2-liter LT1 engine with millions of hours behind it churns out a healthy dose of 450 horsepower and 450 lb-ft. of torque while a six-speed automatic or seven-speed manual sends those ponies to the rear wheels. One of the biggest criticisms of the previous generation model was addressed with soft nappa leather, soft-touch materials, and high-quality materials, ensuring that the new Stingray can keep up or even exceed its competition.
Chevrolet has unveiled a new commercial to go along with the new Corvette Stingray, as we patiently wait until the day finally comes when it pops up on dealership lots.
