A little bit of fun for the new C-Class.
Since it was first introduced, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class has been the go-to premium luxury car for those that want that classic German build quality and the three-pointed star on the hood. Now in its fourth generation, the new C-Class promises to be sporty, luxurious, and more efficient than ever before. The team at Brabus is looking to take that to another level with their new Mercedes-Benz W205 C-Class upgrade program.
To start things off on the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Brabus went to the wind tunnel to design some new high-quality PUR plastic aerodynamic bodywork that optimized cooling and downforce while conforming to the factory styling. The German tuner offers up their new bodywork in either standard, AVANTGARDE, or EXCLUSIVE packages for even better customization options.
Up front, the C-Class features a new spoiler that reduces lift at the front axle and can be fitted to the new standard or AVANTGARDE bumper. New air intakes can also be installed on up front that help to add a more aggressive personality and improve cooling. Moving towards the rear are new side skirts that give the profile a more aggressive look and can be had with LED entry lights for those dark, lonely nights. The rear of the C-Class benefits from new aerodynamics from Brabus such as a new spoiler lip, diffuser-look insert for the bumper, and dual cutouts for the Brabus quad sport exhaust system.
The new visual changes Brabus offers up for the W205 Mercedes-Benz C-Class don’t stop there. A full range of wheels and suspension options are also available to create the perfect stance. Brabus Monoblock F, R, and Q wheels can be installed on the C-Class in 18-, 19-, or 20-inch diameters. The largest setups are available with the Monoblock F and R wheels that measure 8.5J x 20 up front and 9.5J x 20 at the rear, wearing 225/35 ZR 20 and 255/30 ZR 20 rubber from tech-partners Continental, Pirelli or YOKOHAMA. To finish off the new wheel and tire setup, customers can opt for Brabus suspension lowering kits developed in conjunction with Bilstein for a better overall ride and look.
Power was also something that Brabus was able to inject into a few model variants of the new W205 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The C200 can be equipped with the Brabus PowerXtra B20.2 plug-and-play performance kit that alters the engine electronics and boosts output on the turbocharged gas engine by 40 bhp and 22 lb-ft. of torque, while dropping the 0-62 mph acceleration time down to 7.0 seconds, flat and increasing top speed to 150 mph. Those with the C220 BlueTec can opt for the Brabus PowerXtra D3 kit that bumps power by 48 bhp and torque jumps to 332 lb-ft. The 0-62 mph time drops down to 7.1 seconds and top speed is also pushed to 149 mph. Tuning for the rest of the W205 model lineup is still in the final stages of development.
The finishing touch for the W205 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a full range of custom-tailored interior options. The Brabus upholstery shop can create any kind of interior design with a wide range of materials, stitching patterns, and components along with accessories like aluminum pedals, velour floor mats, and more.
The full range of Brabus Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W205) upgrades is currently available. Each performance tuning program comes standard with a Brabus Tuning Warranty of three-years/62,000 miles.
