What to expect when DTM crosses the pond.
During a United SportsCar Racing press conference in New York City, the governing bodies of NASCAR and Grand-Am announced their agreement to host DTM races in the United States by 2016. That means Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz will battle it out with their latest race-spec models on US soil.
For those of you that aren’t familiar with DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters) racing, it’s an exciting series filled with all sorts of drama, crashes, talent, and intense rivalries with your favorite European marquees.
