We love the Cadillac CTS-V Wagon. It comes packed with a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 spouting 556 horsepower and 551 lb-ft. of torque, and a six-speed manual. It has room in the back and unreal performance; it’s a true enthusiast’s everyday grocery-getter. But, D3 Cadillac decided to crank it up a notch with the “Battlewagon.” The CTS-V wagon by D3 boasts $14,000 worth of modifications such as a new exhaust, retuned ECU, new pulley, bigger intercooler, etc. This sends output soaring to 675 horsepower and 675 lb-ft. of torque at the crank.
So, to see what $14k worth of upgrades gets you, Motor Trend decided to do a fun CTS-V race between the two Caddies. While we all know who is going to win, it’s a great comparison to see how much more performance you gain from the D3 upgrades.
