Celebrating 150 years of Italian unification with the Maserati GranTurismo S

The Centocinquantenario Edition.

On December 1st, 1914, Maserati was founded in the Italian city of Bologna. Since then the automaker has enjoyed a storied history filled with racing and style. To celebrate 150 years of Italian unification, Maserati has unveiled a special edition GranTurismo S at the Bologna Motor Show.

The new Maserati GranTurismo S Centocinquantenario is limited to just 12 units and features a host of special interior and exterior upgrades. The entire GranTurismo S Centocinquantenario was dressed in a silky smooth matte Sebring Blue paint that emphasizes the lines and character of the coupe. Carbon fiber was used to create the front and rear spoilers, side mirrors, and door handles. Also contrasting the matte paint are matte black side skirts and headlights that create a more aggressive appearance. New 20-inch gloss black painted wheels finish off the exterior upgrades and hide a set of hand-polished aluminum brake calipers.

Inside the Maserati GranTurismo S Centocinquantenario Automatic are upgrades borrowed from the MC Stradale and exclusive Centocinquantenario edition features. MC Stradale door sills, seats with alcantara inserts, pedals, and other components create a sense of athleticism in the cockpit. The center console proudly wears a Centocinquantenario commemorative anniversary plaque with vehicle number to celebrate the 150 years of unification. Carbon fiber trim pieces finish off the exclusive special edition.

Only 12 of the Maserati GranTurismo S Centocinquantenario special editions will be produced for the Italian market. Pricing for the special edition has not been released.
