Built from scratch.
Car enthusiasts and their passion often lead them to build and create some pretty cool and amazing things. Whether it’s a special project build or a custom fabrication, this is what makes the automotive world so great.
Just take a look at what one automotive enthusiast created from scratch: a mini 45cc V-8 engine with electronic fuel injection. The engine was made by hand using a 95-year-old lathe, and uses a single fuel injector made from Punto injector internals. The V-8 even has a pressurized oil system, drilled crank, alloy block, venier cam pulleys, Walbro fuel pump, tungsten alloy flywheel, and 24-tooth trigger wheel for megasquirt.
The 45cc engine is simply a beautiful piece of engineering and even has that classic V-8 roar.
Hats off to you, creator of the mini-V8!
