Frankenstein.
We’ve seen some crazy engine swaps before, but this one arguably takes the cake. It’s an original FIAT 500 that’s been heavily modified and has played home to a 3.2-liter flat-six from a Porsche 911, a 3.0-liter Ferrari V-8, and a 6.2-liter V-12 from a Lamborghini Murciélago.
Why? Well, why the heck not?
There’s nothing wrong with going absolutely bonkers with an engine swap and this custom-fabricated original FIAT 500 qualifies as such. The car was built by Oemmedi meccanica, and has been stuffed with all sorts of engines in its rear, the latest of which is the V-12 from the Lamborghini Murciélago that takes up quite a bit of space back there and pumps out 580 horsepower.
The video shows the FIAT 500 spinning around the track with the Ferrari 3.0-liter V-8 and having a ball. We just can’t imagine what it’s like to have that kind of power in such a small, lightweight car.
Here’s one with the Lamborghini V-12!
