Believe it or not, the horsepower addicts at Brabus have been working on alternative powertrains and development for a decade with their Zero Emission division. So, when an all-electric vehicle like the Tesla Model S came around, the German company was all ready to put their expertise to use.
The new Brabus Zero Emission Tesla Model S packs quite a punch with the option to lay down 762 bhp in the vehicle’s “Ludicrous Mode”. Just like its name, it’s absolutely bonkers and is more than enough to throw drivers back into their seats for a white-knuckled ride with its instant power delivery.
That space-age acceleration benefits from all sorts of aerodynamically-optimized body work from Brabus, developed with state-of-the-art technology and wind tunnel testing. Made from lightweight carbon fiber finished in matte or gloss clear coating, the new aero kit exudes confidence, improves cooling, and optimizes stability.
The Brabus Zero Emission Tesla Model S sports a carbon fiber spoiler lip to reduce lift while carbon fiber air intake attachments help channel more air to the radiators. At the rear, a Brabus carbon fiber diffuser replaces the factory lower bumper insert and helps optimize airflow while adding a more athletic look.
Putting that electric power to the asphalt are new Brabus Monoblock Y Platinum Edition forged wheels that have been developed specifically for the Tesla Model S. Their forged construction gives them a strong molecular makeup while keeping rotating mass to a minimum for better overall performance. Up front, the new one-piece wheels measure 9.0J x 21 and are shod in 255/35 R21 and 265/35 R21 front and rear tires from your choice of Continental, Pirelli, or Yokohama.
Inside the high-tech Brabus Zero Emission Tesla Model S is a custom-tailored interior armed with a wealth of comfort. The in-house upholstery shop can add a variety of leather, alcantara, and other materials with a range of patterns and stitching designs. Special wood and carbon fiber trim sets can also be added to create a bespoke cabin.
Enter the Model S and you’ll be greeting by stainless steel scuff plates with illuminated white and blue Brabus logos. A newly-designed Brabus center console located in the transmission tunnel offers space for a variety of items and includes an integrated wireless smartphone charger. For an added touch of convenience, the cup holders can be set to cool or heat drinks.
The new Brabus Zero Emission Tesla Model S is a glimpse into the future of motoring with an aftermarket, custom-tailored touch. The entire program is currently available for the Tesla Model S.
