And get new lightweight cup holders too!

For 68 years, Lotus has been working to keep weight to a minimum with their sports cars to provide an exceptional, performance-oriented driving experience. Colin Chapman founded the automaker on that idea, and it still continues today. The Lotus Evora 400 and its new optional Carbon Pack takes that even further.

“The Lotus Evora 400 is already the lightest car in its segment, with super car performance, benchmark handling and the purity of the driving experience expected of a Lotus. We are now giving customers an opportunity to drive an even lighter and more responsive car,” said Jean-Marc Gales, CEO of Group Lotus plc.

The new Carbon Pack gives the Lotus Evora 400 a number of lightweight upgrades that come standard on the Evora Sport 410. A new front splitter, roof panel, rear wing center, rear diffuser, front access panel, and side mirror caps are all hand-made from carbon fiber and reduce weight by 11 lbs. The pieces also feature a glossy finish and contrast the factory body paint, setting it apart from the standard model range.

In addition to the Carbon Pack, Lotus also gives drivers the ability to select a lightweight lithium ion battery and a titanium exhaust system that cuts another 22 lbs. from the overall weight.

For the new Lotus Evora 400 models, a special lightweight cup holder will be an option in the European and Asian markets, and be standard in the USA and Canada. The cup holder weighs just 0.25 lbs., showing the brand’s dedication to lightweight performance while adding some convenience.

If Lotus Evora 400 owners opt for the Carbon Pack, titanium exhaust, lithium ion battery, 2+0 seating option, and air conditioning delete, a total of 93 lbs. can be cut for a total of 2,983-lb. overall weight. All of the new upgrades will be available across all markets while the air conditioning delete and 2+0 seating is available at no cost.
