The Mercedes-AMG GT models have exceeded expectations on both the road and the track, especially the new Mercedes-AMG GT R. But, nothing comes close to what California-based DIME Racing will be offering on a limited basis.
The new DIME Racing Edition GT is based on the 2017 Mercedes-AMG GT and takes the motorsports experience, tech, and know-how from the company and injects it into every pore. Thanks to racing experience gained from series such as the Pirelli World Challenge, DIME Racing has all the tools to push the German sports car to the next level on the road and the track.
Each DIME Racing Edition GT will feature a full aerodynamic package designed to optimize cooling and generate downforce to carve up corners and improve stability. The more aggressive looks also reflect the massive amount of power coming from the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine. Here, a whopping 745 horsepower will be on tap for drivers to take advantage of and tear up the track. A new cooling system keeps everything in check while a completely re-engineered suspension ensures precision driving.
The new DIME Racing Edition GT will have a price tag that starts around $150,200 and come with a bumper-to-bumper warranty. The modified super cars will be available at select Mercedes-AMG dealerships around the United States and come with a cataloged and serialized DIME Racing VIN. Only 100 units will be produced each year on a first-come, first-serve basis so you better be quick with your checkbooks!
