Starting off the New Year on the right foot.
DMC Exotic Car Tuning has had quite a bit of fun with the Lamborghini Aventador over the past two years. They’ve developed two stages of tuning (Molto Veloce and Speziale Version) along with a few special edition versions that never fail to put a smile on the driver’s face. To start 2014 off right, DMC Exotic Car Tuning is teasing their upcoming Stage 3 upgrade program called the “Edizione GT”.
This Stage 3 could be the last upgrade program for the Aventador, but our guess is that the European company will continue to crank out the power and carbon fiber styling for years to come. The new Lamborghini Aventador LP988 “Edizione GT” has been designed using FIA regulations and aerodynamically-optimized carbon fiber bodywork. It’s built for the track, but is completely road-legal.
The exterior of the Lamborghini Aventador LP988 “Edizione GT” will feature a front and rear bumper set inspired by the Lamborghini Veneno. Side skirts and an aerodynamic engine cooling hood help airflow as it moves towards the rear where the large adjustable GT spoiler that generates massive amounts of downforce.
The official engine specifications for the “Edizione GT” have not been released, but we expect a very healthy increase in output for the 6.5-liter V-12.
The DMC Lamborghini Aventador LP988 “Edizione GT” will be priced at $288,888 with the body kit costing $89,990 and the engine upgrades priced at $134,530. Stay tuned for the official unveiling at a later date and the official specifications.
