Life-sized toy car fun.
If you didn’t play with Hot Wheels as a kid (or still don’t as an adult) you’re missing out. Racing all sorts of miniature sports cars down plastic orange tracks intertwined throughout a room is incredibly fun, especially when the loops are involved.
Even though we may be all grown up (for the most part) we still have a love for those little cars and plastic tracks. At the 2012 X Games in Los Angeles, Hot wheel attempted to set a new Guinness World Record with a life-sized double-car loop.
Drivers Greg Tacy and Tanner Foust were recruited to attempt the incredible stunt at X Games driving two stripped-out race cars. Each driver had to race up the same six-story loop without hitting each other or running out of steam. Both drivers were able to finish and set the record without any mishaps or accidents, wowing the crowd and giving us the urge to dig out the Hot Wheels and try the double loop ourselves.
