Dream Drives for Kids is a very inspiring organization founded and run by Eric Peterson and his wife, Amity. Armed with a small fleet of supercars, sports cars, and exotics, Peterson gives sick kids the opportunity to experience the ride of their life behind the wheel of a vehicle of their choice.
The Peterson’s organization spreads the joy that the open air, howling engine, road-gripping handling, and otherworldly acceleration brings to young children who are suffering and need to get their minds off of their daily fight and struggle.
Dream Drives for Kids has partnered with OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Cancer Association (CCA) in Portland, Oregon to reach more children and put big, gasoline-fed smiles on their faces. The organization has also partnered with local dealerships to give the children something to take home and remember their special driving experience with.
