We’ve seen the concept car, the spy videos, camouflage-covered prototypes, and even one in Martini Racing livery. But, what we haven’t seen is any sort of official specifications, colors, options, etc. for the Porsche 918 Spyder, until now…or so we think.
Thanks to an anonymous leak, a good portion of the brochure for the production Porsche 918 Spyder has been released onto the internet causing the collective jaws of automotive enthusiasts to drop in amazement at the beauty, specs, and figures for the newest super car from Porsche.
From what we can see in the leaked brochure, there will be six metallic exterior paint colors available along with a Martini Racing or Salzburg Racing livery films, four solid paints, two liquid metal colors, and a few other films with exposed carbon fiber will be available.
The drivetrain is also detailed in the leaked 918 Spyder brochure, showing the PDK, electric motors, V-8 engine, and charging socket.
Possibly one of our favorite parts of the leak is the chart detailing the power figures for the super car. It shows the power curve for the V-8 engine with its maximum 580 horsepower output as well as the figures for both of the electric motors with maximum output reaching 795 horsepower total. Plus, it also revs to a sky-high 9,000RPM!
Forged, center-locking wheels in 20- and 21-inch sizes will be available and offer an incredibly low weight in a number of different designs. An automatic lowering system that reduces ride height by 30 mm will also be available.
The super-efficient super car also achieved a Nürburgring lap time of just 7:14, setting it among the top of the food chain. WE CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS CAR!
