A Panamera so fast it’ll leave a 911 Turbo in the dust.
edo competition Motorsport has quite the Porsche tuning portfolio with products and tuning programs for the 996 911, 997 911, and Cayenne. The company even made a street-legal 911 GT3-R. But, this is the first time the German tuner has taken on Porsche’s first sedan. So would their new program turn the Panamera into a furious four-door, or would edo competition have to go back to the drawing board? We’ll let you and 750 horsepower decide.
The exterior of the Panamera Turbo is bold, conspicuous, and may look familiar to some. edo competition has outfitted the sedan with the Mansory Aerodynamics package (as per customer request). The kit is comprised of new front and rear bumpers, LED lighting, extended fenders, side skirts, and a carbon fiber rear spoiler. edo competition did design a new rear valence to make room for the new dual exhaust with butterfly valves and four stainless steel exhaust tips.
The Panamera Turbo’s strong aesthetics are further enhanced with the addition of new wheels and suspension components. edo competition has fitted new 22-inch sport wheels with Continental tires that can be custom painted per customer request. In addition, a new lowering module has been installed to give the Panamera a striking stance and improve handling.
Even though edo competition’s use of the Mansory Aerodynamics package for the majority of the exterior modifications may disappoint some, the German tuner had bigger fish to fry – a 750 horsepower fish that is. For almost two years technicians and engineers have been working to develop a “big power” program for the twin-turbocharged V-8. edo competition has taken the stock 500 horsepower 4.8-liter and pushed it to produce an astonishing 750 horsepower. This sends the sedan to 60 mph in under four seconds (stock 4.4 seconds) and to an electronically-limited top speed of 211 mph. That’s 17 mph faster than the 911 Turbo and 6 mph faster than the 911 GT2 RS!
edo competition also ensures that you can cruise at speeds over 200 mph in style and comfort. The entire interior and cabin of the Panamera Turbo can be custom-tailored to customer specifications. The finest woods, lacquer, metal, and carbon fiber trims are used to complement the unique leather and fabric colors. A number of special seats, steering wheels, consoles, and foot pedals are available, giving customers a chance to create a one-of-a-kind Panamera Turbo.
The Porsche Panamera Turbo tuning program from edo competition Motorsport GmbH is currently available. Pricing for the entire package has not been released because the entire program is completely custom-tailored to customer specifications.
