In case you forgot about the Ford GT, it’s about to hit 2016 with a twin-turbocharged hammer both on and off the track. January 8th is when the race-spec Ford GT will hit the track to test for the 24 Hours of Daytona that takes place on January 30th-31st, and we are very excited.
A total of four Ford GTs will be entered in the IMSA SportsCar Championship, and the FIA World Endurance Championship, with each series seeing two cars compete for the checkered flag. The FIA WEC might not start until April, but the former is right around the corner and we cannot wait to see the two Ford GTs make their highly-anticipated debuts with their classic design and EcoBoost V-6 engines.
