The BMW i8 is the cream of the crop when it comes to this, so it only made sense that Vorsteiner installed its latest and greatest V-FE 402 forged wheels and V-RE Aero Program to the plug-in-hybrid sports car.
A total of 357 horsepower and 420 lb-ft. of torque propel the BMW i8 effortlessly to 60 mph in a mere 4.2 seconds, while serving up a 330-mile total range. Everything from the modern body work to the inner workings screams ‘the future is here’, and the team at Vorsteiner were able to emphasize that with a bit of high-performance flair.
Starting things off are the new V-FE 402 forged wheels. Made from T-6061 forged aluminum alloy, these 15-spoke wheels serve up some incredible strength while keeping weight to a minimum for a true high-performance solution. Not only does the reduced weight at the wheel hub improve overall performance but it cuts down on fuel consumption – which only adds to the appeal of the BMW i8.
On this striking BMW i8, the Vorsteiner V-FE 402 forged wheels were installed in a 9.0 x 22 front and 10.5 x 22 rear setup. Each wheel also boasts a Brushed Dark Shadow Tint to complement the factory color scheme.
While the new V-FE 402 forged wheels add to the overall performance, the Vorsteiner V-RE Aero Program adds to the overall styling. The new kit includes a new front spoiler, rear diffuser, and rear ducktail spoiler sitting between the angular LED taillights. The new kit perfectly meshes with the factory body lines to give it a clean but eye-catching aesthetic.
