Oldie but a goodie.
It feels weird writing about the E9X BMW M3 as an “old” car. Actually, “old” might be a bad term; its more outdated, not by fault of its own. It’s just that the new BMW M3/M4 is that good and the old generation is simply trumped by the new one in terms of performance, technology, and driving. That doesn’t mean that it’s not out of style, though, as seen with this E92 BMW M3 with Vorsteiner V-FF 103 Flow Forged wheels and carbon fiber body work.
The E9X BMW M3 deviated from the straight-six engine blueprint that most of the lineup had been utilizing in the name of power, the only other being the original E30 M3. That high-revving 4.0-liter V-8 making 414 bhp and 295 lb-ft. is quite the hoot and these new Vorsteiner V-FF 103 wheels are more than up for the challenge of handling that power. Thanks to their flow forged construction, they’re strong and lightweight without sacrificing style.
This featured E92 BMW M3 was outfitted with the V-FF 103 wheels in a staggered 9.5 x 19 front and 10.5 x 19 rear setup with a concave front profile and deep concave rear to emphasize the rear-wheel drive performance. A slick Carbon Graphite finish draws eyes away from the Alpine White paint and black stripes.
The German wasn’t finished there. Vorsteiner added on their GTRS7 front bumper with commanding air intakes and protruding spoiler in carbon fiber to scoop up all the air. A GTS-V carbon fiber diffuser and rounded coupe trunk lid show that the M3 still has quite a bit of snarl and bite hiding under its sheetmetal with which to play.
Although the E9X-generation BMW M3 is done rolling off the production line, this one isn’t going away quiet.
