Lightweight performance for the German sports car.
The two-door BMW M3 has always been one of the best driver’s cars in the world since it first touched the asphalt in 1985. The current generation has split up into the M3 and M4. Both have superb dynamics and incredible power, but the two-door M4 is the favorite, and was for HRE Wheels with their new RC103 forged wheels.
The new BMW M4 with its motorsport background from DTM and FIA GT3 and many more series, was the perfect platform to showcase the new HRE RC103 forged wheels. The wheels were developed after years of racing in the IMSA | Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge series which saw the RC1 wheels take home championships four out of the past five seasons with the Fall-Line Motorsports and Rum Bum Racing teams. HPA Motorsports will also be the first team to equip their cars with the RC103 wheels as their Volkswagen Jettas compete in the 2015 Pirelli World Challenge season.
As part of the RC1 series, the RC103 is a monoblock forged wheel constructed from aerospace-grade 6061-T6 forged aluminum. Each wheel is designed and manufactured to keep weight to an absolute minimum without sacrificing strength, resulting in less rotational mass.
The 11-spoke wheels were installed in this reptilian green BMW M4 in a 9.5 x 19 front and 11.0 x 19 rear setup in a bright Gloss White finish. Sticky Toyo T1 tires are worn by the HRE RC103 wheels, adding to the already impressive performance of the German sports car.
Armed with the HRE RC103 forged wheels, this BMW M4 is ready to tackle and track.
