The Ferrari 458 Speciale is the cream of the road-going crop for the 458 model line. Maranello engineers tacked on all sorts of motorsport-oriented goodies to make it better than ever and even more of a show-stopper on the street. But this Ferrari 458 Speciale however, is in a league of its own thanks to a new set of Brixton Forged CM16 Targa Series wheels.
Virtually every part of the Ferrari 458 Italia was looked at and improved upon to create the 458 Speciale. It’s lighter, faster, more dynamic, boasts newer technology, and sounds like a Ferrari should. It’s simply an exotic treat for the skilled driver on the road or the track.
After working with the owner of this Ferrari 458 Speciale, Brixton Forged was able to build a newly-designed version of their CM16 Targa Series forged wheels. The three-piece 6061-T6 forged aluminum alloy feature a rolled step-lip design and a concave shape that adds a powerful, complex aesthetic to the 458 Speciale, especially with the classic spoke design.
On the featured Ferrari 458 Speciale, the Brixton Forged CM16 Targa Series wheels are equipped with lightweight backpad pockets that help to reduce rotating mass even further while hidden hardware lends to a cleaner aesthetic. Each wheel also boasts a 120-grit brushed single tint face and lip with the former wearing a matte clear finish and the latter a gloss clear finish. A special Ferrari Nart stripe detail is also on display in the center of the CM16 Targa Series wheels.
This clean Ferrari 458 Speciale wears the Brixton Forged CM16 Targa Series wheels in a staggered 9.5 x 21 front and 12.5 x 22 rear setup, adding to the wedge-shaped profile of the Italian exotic.
