A fitment with a big Egoista.
Back in 2007, Lamborghini made some huge waves in the automotive world when its Reventon rolled onto the stage at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The $2.0 million exotic didn’t just blow others away with its 6.5-liter, V-12, but it also ushered in a new era of design language for the Italian brand that has led to the Aventador and Huracán, today.
This iconic, trend-setter has made a few appearances at the Vancouver-based SR Auto Group and this time it has a new set of wheels to inflate its ego even more – both literally and figuratively.
Sticking with their 2014 theme of using vibrant, eye-catching colors, SR Auto Group gave the Lamborghini Reventon a new set of Egoista Orange PUR RS05 forged wheels. The Egoista name may sound familiar because it was the concept car that Lamborghini debuted as part of their 50th anniversary celebration. The Lamborghini Egoista Concept featured a fighter-jet design with an innovative cockpit and striking orange paint. Its wheels were also very similar to the PUR RS05s, making this the perfect fitment to pay homage to the Italian brand.
The incredibly rare, one-of-twenty Lamborghini Reventon was equipped with the five, twisting-spoke PUR RS05 forged wheels in a wide 8.5 x 19 front and 13.0 x 20 rear staggered setup. Each wheel wears the same Egoista Orange paint that was featured on the concept in 2013 as well, to contrast the sinister black exterior paint finish.
This incredibly rare piece of motoring mayhem is a perfect tribute to the innovation and advances seen in Sant’Agata Bolognese. The future is bright for Lamborghini thanks to the grandfathers that started it all – especially the Reventon.
