Wide and wicked.
The E9X BMW M3 is dead and with it, its high-revving V-8 engine. In its place are two model variants, each powered by twin-turbocharged inline-six motors and loaded with all the advanced tech, aero, and know-how that put them at the forefront of the sports car game. But this Liberty Walk BMW M3 built by Nextmod with Brixton Forged WR3 wheels, isn’t going away quietly.
The eight-cylinder, canyon-carving BMW M3 is loud, both visually and with the power it spits out of its quad rear tailpipes. The visual brutality starts with the Nextmod-installed Liberty Walk widebody kit that includes a striking front spoiler lip extending outwards and into the flared fenders with exposed bolt apertures. A pair of almost cartoonishly-large fenders protrude from the body at the rear and their flamboyant character is matched only by the massive wing spoiler that undoubtedly generates a huge amount of downforce.
In order to match these extravagant looks of the Nextmod Liberty Walk BMW M3, the wheels had to match – and fit – the new hardware, starting with the gigantic StopTech BBK brakes. The team at Brixton Forged had just the lightweight forged wheels for the job in their new WR3 Targa Series model.
The three-piece Brixton Forged WR3 Targa Series forged wheels feature a deep concave depth that perfectly matches the muscle and style of the Liberty Walk widebody kit. Each wheel boasts lightweight backpad pocketing and exposed RAU Titanium Hardware that cuts a full pound of weight from each wheel in the name of performance.
The Kingsport Grey color is worn on each of the Brixton Forged WR3 Targa Series wheels a matte clear finish on the face and gloss clear finish on each lip. Up front, these concave shoes are worn in a 10.5 x 20 fitment, while the rear comes in at a wider 12.0 x 20 setup to perfectly fill in those massive fenders.
Although the eight-cylinder-powered E9X BMW M3s have since been replaced by faster, more advanced models today, this Liberty Walk widebody monster with Brixton Forged WR3 Targa Series wheels built by Nextmod is still a huge attention-grabber.
